Mary Jo Huard is the President of Southwest Training Institute, a training and facilitation company, founded in 1988, and based in Dallas, Texas.  Prior to starting her own company, Ms. Huard worked for Texas Instruments in the field of training & development and organizational effectiveness where she was a sought-after internal consultant and workshop leader.  Her background includes over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Training, and Organizational Development in both the public and private arenas with extensive experience in high tech, manufacturing, and education. 

Today, Ms. Huard works with companies, large and small, in all areas of employee development, leadership development, communication skills, creativity & innovation, team building, consulting skills, customer service, sales, diversity, negotiation, 360-performance feedback & coaching, career development and change management.  She is highly regarded in helping individuals, teams and leaders improve their performance and contribute to the success of their organizations and business objectives.   She is an active member and a frequent speaker at both local organizations and national conference events.  She has earned a reputation as a knowledgeable and informative instructor & presenter, regularly enjoying high attendance figures and positive performance feedback.
