Margarita De la Fuente, from Mexico, is Biochemical engineer as formal profession. She had latter attended to post-graduated studies at ITESM (Mexico), IATA (Valence, Spain) and IPNO (Tenerife, Spain).
From 1996, she started to get involve in innovation models and tools. In 2001 she had a first contact with Edward de Bono tools and she joined the de Bono’s network in 2002, when she became certified trainer in Lateral Thinking. She got the Six Thinking Hats certification in 2002 and in 2007, was certified by Innova Training as master trainer for both de Bono tools.
At present, Margarita leads Trenova, S.C., a company based in Monterrey, Mexico, this firm provides training in Lateral Thinking and Six Thinking Hats, idea generation workshops, problem solving workshops, as well as consulter on innovation systems, consumer driven development and innovation process management.
Some of the companies which Margarita has collaborated on projects or as consulter are: Griffith Laboratories of Mexico, Gamesa Group, Pizza Hut (Mexico), KFC, Cansa, Cervecería Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma, OXXO, Vigo Vision, Bebidas Funcionales, PEMEX y Cáritas de Monterrey.
Before founding Trenova, S.C., Margarita held different positions in education as in corporative environments: Professor (ITESM Mexico), Innovation (Griffith labs) and Product Innovation and Development (OXXO).
