Barbara Stennes is known for her work in innovation and creativity, conducting seminars or facilitating meetings with over 70,000 people throughout North America, South America, and Europe. Client organizations include 22 Fortune 100 Businesses. 

She is the author of the book entitled "Innovation: Case by Case," a collection of real-world de Bono success stories that illustrate how organizations have implemented the de Bono thinking methods to create new products, to revamp processes, and to design new services.

Barbara is one of only four Lifetime Certified Master Trainers worldwide.  This designation was awarded by Dr. Edward de Bono and is reserved for professional consultants who have been affiliated with the de Bono organization for at least 10 years, have trained over 10,000 people in de Bono thinking techniques, have demonstrated outstanding platform skills, and who exemplify the highest standards in customer service.
 
In 1996 Barbara earned the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional), the highest earned designation awarded by the National Speakers Association. The award recognizes her commitment to the speaking profession through proven experience, ongoing education, and ethical behavior.
 
Prior to founding Resources Unlimited, Barbara held positions in sales, banking, healthcare, manufacturing, and higher education.  She is a graduate of the College of Business at The University of Iowa.
